Community Engagement

Community Engagement:

Working with the community to build better neighborhoods.

Community Builders of Kansas City is focused on developing projects that meet financial performance criteria, but most importantly, meet the needs of the community. We work within neighborhoods in which our presence and participation has been invited. Our engagement ranges from inviting neighborhood residents and representatives to project-specific meetings, including neighborhood representation on our Board, to assisting the community with thoughtful neighborhood-initiated projects. Our Board of Directors includes representatives (either active neighborhood leaders or residents) of Sheraton Estates, Town Fork Creek, Manheim Park Neighborhood Association and Blue Hills Neighborhood Association. We have assets operating in several of the above listed neighborhoods as well as Downtown Kansas City, Mo., Ivanhoe, Mt. Cleveland, Manheim Park, Seven Oaks and Dunbar.
