Swope Community Builders, a nonprofit community development corporation, has merged with Blue Hills Community Services to form Community Builders of Kansas City.
Both companies develop and provide housing in Kansas City’s urban-core neighborhoods.
“We were driven and motivated primarily by a desire to preserve the community assets that Blue Hills has developed over the past 40 years,” said Art Chaudry, CEO of the combined entity.
